if a guy had a lathe he could make a simple piece of metal with the right ID and length.
the just squeeze their lead balls in it to control the width.
you could even call it something cool like the Hillary method.

I wasn’t arguing, I was just excited that I had found a legitimate way to work the word Dominatrix into the conversation!
There, I did twice!!!

Well, it's February--and much of the nation is in a deep freeze. It's not like we all aren't shack-whacky enough from the lockdowns and COVID Counter-Measures already, but Old Man Winter has to hit home and add to the fun. YEE-HAW!

And now, for something completely different--back on topic. I have Lymans #450 and #4500, and mostly Lyman H&I dies to use in them. I don't care for RCBS H&I dies, and have replaced the few I had with Lymans or semi-custom clones.

I like the RCBS dies because many have just one lube port on the various sides drilled for lube holes. I like the Lyman dies because they have 3-4 holes in the rows of lube ports. Depends upon whether I am lubricating pistol or rifle I suppose. But early on, I bought which ever one had the right diameter because I had not noticed the difference until much later in the hobby.

Paraphrase of Samuel Clemens, in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer -- "Work" consists of what a body is obliged to do; "play" consists of what a body is NOT obliged to do.
