I have been needing a higher volume mold for my 40's. I have a couple good 40/10mm molds. But all are 1 or 2 cav. Molds and altho they work fine it takes allot of time. I like casting so it was OK. I still like it, ;). But more cavities sure makes me like it more!! ;)

I had been using the LEE 145g and liking it! But lee dont offer a 6cav. I cast so many with that first mold it loose ed up so much I needed to replace it!! I cast ALLOT from that mold!!
i tried the 175TL mold. That one just would not shoot. No matter what I tried. It feed well enough but accuracy wasn't there.
i ordered the TC mold next. This one worked better! Its a nice bullet about only complaint was shallow lube groove. But PC solved that issue!! I have used this bullet a couple years now. Never "upgrading" to the 6cav. Until now. ;) I ordered a 6cav on special and heat cycled it last night and cast with it today. Its a winner!! Im happy for aure. I cast up some 600 in short time.
I powder coated them with some new powders. Dupont and Tiger Dry Lac. Beige and Ocre. Both powders are wonderful. Coating beautiful and flowing to cover 100% with no sticking problems. They broke free of the basket and didnt even stick to each other agressively.
I posted three videos to my Utube account showing the powders.

I use Tom's 165gr version and it feeds and shoots great. 4x is all I can handle, otherwise the shoulder begins to hurt.

That mold was my first Lee new mold. Ended up with a pair. That is a very fine bullet.
Feeds and shoots very well in My old Glock M23 with Wolf bbl. Lots better then the old Lyman#40143.

If I could get my powder to stick like that I might re-visit the dump 'n' bake technique. Gonna watch your video now...
What did ya think of the video's?

There is a couple there of my process.

I was hoping to see your shaking technique and details like how much powder vs. bullets you use, I didn't see any BBs in there but you didn't say if you used them, and I'd like to see the dumping/sifting process. You know, kinda show all the steps.

CW, those bullets almost look too good to shoot. If I could get results like that with shake, dump & bake- I would consider quitting my day job

Have you made a write-up or video detailing your process? It is obvious, I have a lot to learn from you here.

I don't dump. I pull out my bullets with fingers. Wear nitrile #7 gloves. Use blk bb's, shake 30-60 sec. bang box on table and remove cover. Pick up each bullet and drop back a 1/2" high into box to shake off excess powder. Stand upright on non-stick foil, bake 15-20 min at 400degrees. Dump into bucket of cold water.
My T.O. sits on the side shelf of My gas grill. When the sun hits it, the temp goes up, so only 15min baking time. Bucket is the same one used to drop quench bullets from casting. I wash bucket in tub soap & hot water, to dry out bucket by placing upside down on 2 bricks. Then it's gets a tight fitting cover until needed.

CLEAN Bullets are the Key for me.

You can have a look at my uTube account. I do have a couple videos showing some of my process.
I preheat my bullets on top of the oven.
I DONT search for #5 containers.
I DONT use plastic BB's. (But they are rarely a negative as all the do is increase surface area to help create more static.)
Not all powders or all colors are created equal.
Placing bullets individually on a sheet and baking is far too anal for me. Its simply not required. I can get just as good results without the time and effort. I will still occasionally use the stand alone style. But the better I get the less this is needed.
