This is the key for me too. I just can't take the CRACK. As a result, I wind up shooting lighter loads (typically, a 158 gr bullet at around an actual 1000-1050 fps from any particular .357). That puts the loads in the 38 Special +P range. My factory load of choice lately is whatever version of the FBI load I can scrounge.
Thats why I like my Smith '17 in 45AR. A soft "boom" instead of the 357/32-20 "CRACK!!!!" Fortunately I can load them all down, but the smaller the bore, the more the crack in general terms.

I tried to access my old Photobucket account a couple years back. No go, not sure when it all changed.
There is a software trick to get in, but I am sure it doesn't work anymore.
anyway, at some point after I could no longer login to the site, but there was still photobucket links in other forums that still showed the image, I would just do a cut and paste, to save the image on my harddrive, if it was a photo I had lost in a past tense harddrive crash. But when the image is saved by cut and paste, it's fairly small (pixelwise), as you can see in the photo I shared...but it's still usable.

They say anything on the internet is forever, but there is a lot o stuff I can't find anymore. Might have been before your time, but the last 2-3 weeks that Shooters.com existed can't be found anywhere. There was a lot of info there that was lost. Too bad too.

Anything involving electricity is only temporary. The internet makes everything visible today to everyone, but unknown how long it will last.

Try to find the Flip Wilson , Gerladene knee growth skit ........
Can't find The Villain w/Arnaald saying "I was named after my father . Hansom Stranger " . Same style and class of humour as Blazing Saddles.
Faces of death is still available.

I guess it depends on who thinks it's important to save .
There's days of stunt work done before talkies that is just full cringe .

Edison cylinders . I might still have a couple around somewhere in their correct boxes ......
