.223 Rem goodies arrived.
Brass from Uncle Jimbo (THANK YOU, SIR!) are in the vibratory tumbler.
Dies from Midsouth are soaking in mineral spirits.
The rifle is on order, but it will be at least two weeks before I take possession, which will give me plenty of time to process the brass and determine initial test loads.

Refresh my memory on what rifle you bought. My Savage 12FV in .223 loves Nosler Varmagedon 55gr flat base bullets and H355

The rifle is a black Ruger American/Vortex Crossfire II package, and bullets are Winchester 55-grainers.

Today, we are half way through our Chicago sharpening events, 3 more to go. Long days and we will be happy to head for home (Cleveland) on Wednesday. It is always great to see old customers and meet new ones but sure am glad when it is over.

Sore & tired, worked.

Think I'm going to look for the 454-350 & 311-195 I heat treated awhile back. Forgot about them, finger itchy.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Quite the weather here. Roads were so bad my wife stayed at my daughters because the roads were so bad. I had trouble getting around in the Burb. Nasty snow/rain/snow/ice/sleet/snow/hail/rain/snow. Not much better this morning. It warmed up to about 35 and at least the ice came off the trees.

heh,heh hahahahaha.
now you know why I'm re-doing my bench top with 2 pieces of 3/4" plywood, even with 2X's under the bench doubled up melamine coated boards like that will do the same thing.

Mine is 2 layers, glued and screwed, of 3/4” plywood. No such things as too stiff for a loading bench.

Ye I ran one through a little dry and tried to muscle it home. I like my little stand so I am considering making a new top from 1 inch ply wood, with maybe a sheet of aluminum plate on top.

My Table is small..... sits on top of my mother's old 1910 Singer Sewing Machine iron frame! Has a piece of 3/4" old oak table top and that is also covered with 3/4 Plywood

Made Lamb Stew again this weekend so I made Brett happy!

Got pretty well soaked doing chores. Decided to do something inside, so I mucked out 2 horse stalls that the poop had finally thawed in. Fun. Then I got soaked all over again spreading the s....manure. Nothing makes you appreciate a warm house like a rainy 33F day!
