Won't post a pic but Bro sent me a vid of the Benz Victoria. Oldest street legal auto in world. Hand throttle and foot brake. Est. $ is many M$.

Sorry, I can't do it after looking for awhile. That is an uncommon angle to search. I think the coupe is a LaSalle?

Chandler F head 6. Yes, priming ports on the head. Kinda like the LaSalle (Cad) V8.

Not the Viktoria but similar steering.

In the top picture, I like the thumb-push oil can and its bracket.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
I'm still using a bunch of those old oil cans. Got them from my FIL. Can't improve on some things!

Is that a sleeping bag hanging out the window of that building to right of the Esso station? I'm thinking there was a heavy dew at some kids sleeping in the yard, or the kid had a slip up.

That "horse less" is a work of art !
Every year in October is the NewPort, Indiana "Hill Climb" (NewPort Antique Auto Club) on old highway 63. Many fine old drivable autos / trucks make the journey. Some do so in reverse (Model T's) as the drive train grips better going up hill and the gas will flow down to the engine.

Thanks, Emmett.

Aircraft is an Air Force C-123 Provider -- a twin-engined baby brother to the ubiquitous C-130 Hercules that is still in service.

Had four flights, in them, while in Viet Nam. C-123s were the aircraft used to spray Agent Orange during Operation Ranch Hand. The squadron and aircraft used in the operation were located on the opposite side of the runway from my F-100 squadron, at Phan Rang. When my first load crew chief returned to the World his severe case of shoulder acne was diagnosed as caused by exposure to Agent Orange. So far, I don't have any symptoms of the 27 diseases the V. A. recognizes as Agent Orange caused.

An in-country photo of a C-123 from the above mentioned squadron.

I pretty sure the car is a Pontiac, though don't know the model nor year, but will guess about 1953.

I am still trying to figure what that is sticking into the ground on the right.
At first I thought it was a camera someone laid, but closer inspection tells me it is more then likely a part of the plane.

From Shorpy.com: Horseless carriage:
Washington, D.C., circa 1906. "Senator George P. Wetmore, Rhode Island." Who can identify the car? (The current consensus: Krieger electric landaulet, from France.) Harris & Ewing Collection glass negative.

Senator Wetmore looks like the most self satisfied SOB on the planet. He thought he had the world by the tail.
