Substitute for Alliant 2400?

For modest loads in .30-30, .30-40, and .30-'06. 150 to 210 grain with GC.

Given the success with 2400 with these types of loads, is there anything else that comes close? Or should I be patient and wait until it returns?

It seems commonly available and I read somewhere that Ramshot Enforcer was close to 2400 but no experience with it. Been meaning to pick up a pound and try it in something.

Vihtavuori N110 is excellent.
I got a partial jug of that via Pressman when he was liquidating another friend's stuff.
Because of the number and where it is on the burn rate chart, I assumed it would have the characteristics of H110...but it doesn't.
I loaded some full power loads for 41 mag...anyway, for my loads, it did seem to fire more like 2400 than H110.

I literally laughed out loud when I read "substitute for 2400."

I'd take an 8# jug of 2400 right now, but I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay what they'd want for it, so I came back to see what others would say. I'm surprised and pleased to see so many suggestions.

I still have almost all of an 8# jug of 300MP and maybe 3 or 4# of WC820, so I'd probably never need 2400 for the few warmer handgun rounds I shoot. I don't use it in rifle, but would if I had more. I don't want to use the most-of-a-pound of it that I have and then like it - and not be able to find or afford it. If I were to come into 8# of Bullseye and 8# of 2400, I'd never have to buy powder again. I have a decent stash of Unique already.

I probably already have enough powder to last the rest of my life, but studying the options and considering the trade-offs is still a from of shooting entertainment for me. I've not had to do that in the past, so it's new and interesting to me.

Some rough pointers regarding Vihtavuori N110 in rifle cartridges with caliber- typical bullet weight.

Lube/GC:
.222rem 12grs
.223rem 13grs
6,5x55 15grs
30/30 15grs
.308 win 18grs
.30-06 19grs.

Powdercoat, checkless or PB -> add about 5%
Powdercoat, GC -> add about 15%

Thanks for posting this.
I hesitated posting about my success with N110 in 41 Mag, since the OP was asking about rifle loads (assuming he meant reduced loads)...and I would have no idea if N110 would work like 2400 in reduced rifle loads.

I woud reduce top IMR 4227 loads 20% to get to ballpark, top 2400 loads. Alliant 2400 is cleaner burning than the older Hercules, but still far less likely to leave unburned kernels.

Key to my uses is "forgiving". How wide of latitude in pressure powders work determines their status in my supply. Unique, 2400, and IMR 4227 are some powders I would prefer to not be without. Clays would be an easy substitue for Bullseye, and Universal seems to be for Unique. The Longshot/Blue Dot slot would be next, and I could live without either of those as long as I had 2400. IMR4227 is the next step beyond 2400 as far as "forgiving powders" goes, IMO. Its on the bottom end of the 5744, 4198, Reloader 7 slot. Notice that my choices of powders are NOT ball or flattened ball.

I've seen Enforcer in some wildly different locations on different burn rate charts, but I think right at or just a touch slower than 2400 is correct. I'd love to see some pressure data for loads with Enforcer and 2400 done on the same equipment at the same time. I suspect Enforcer could be used with great effect to emulate .38/44 loads and maybe Keith loads for .44 Special.
