For me that's not the issues. Already set up for conventional lubing bullets. Would be a waste, with equipment sitting idle. Besides, it gives me something to do, in retirement, to lube and or check bullets. PC is a oxymoron with bullets that have lube grooves. IMO Fine for casters, just starting out. I've been doing it my way, for over forty years, with satisfying results. Not about to change.
All just excuses my friend. ;)

EVERY CASTER is likely setup for lubing bullets...

WHO... or WITCH one of us dosent have some kind of equipment sitting idle??

POWDER COATING & learning and perfecting whats best for you is ALSO SOMETHING TO DO!

Oxymoron... Really. How about Military Intelligence?? Lube groves or no lube groves makes absolutely ZERO DIFFERENCE to PC.

IMPROVEMENTS to something, is something that only benifis those who use it.

I also started Casting in the mid 1980's... I started Powder-coating a few years ago.

"NOT ABOUT TO CHANGE". Thats unfortunate. :( Sorry to read this.

As I like to say we all learn something every day but for two reasons. Choice and Death. One is inevitable, the other is, well, its not my choice.

I understand being set in ones ways. I understand sticking with what works. But show me again and again a way thats better. Something that allows me to use LESS HARD ALLOY. Something that allows wider velocity ranger. Something that's cleaner and safer. Thats something Ill try!! After all its a SMALL INVESTMENT to see and I can always go back to what I know.

I pupu ed it myself for a year or so. Man am I glad someone harped on me and I tried it.
God bless

Well I have not near the experience as you gentlemen, but I’m doing my darndest! I’ve been at it 6 ish years. Been away a couple three years due to work but I’m getting back in the saddle, with that being said I started out powder coating. Well it’s all fine and good, but at times and certain situations I want the traditional route. Hell I’ve got 2 sizers ready and heading to get another next weekend. I picked up an old Cramer a couple weeks back and a SAECO to go with what I’m purchasing from Rick I like to set up and run, so now I’m lube sizer broke! Anyway. I’m never going to quit learning, but I too, am a creature of habit. It seems the sickness of reloading and casting is a deep, deep rabbit hole!:headbang:
