Mix it all together and shoot it up in handguns and never even test hardness. Not casting but going thru me bullets and ingots.
I have about 40 lb of Msc. bullets.. Mostly pistol. That I never got any where with, some samples people sent, that just did not pan out in my guns. Others just left over from past calibers.
Then I found about the same weight in Ingot that I never marked.
Plus about 10 lb of dross and clean up.
Left over from various pours. Probably all different alloys.
Trying to figure out how I want to deal with it.
Maybe just mix it all together. Then figure out what I want to do after a hardness test.
Worst to worst I can just water it down with pure and shoot it in the Taurus .357, It eats anything.
If I can get them to stay inside of 2 1/2" at 100yds. I will use them. I have a cast 385gr. load that works but at 1800fps is no fun to shoot. I'm hoping this 300 gr (actual 310gr with my alloy) at 1650-1700fps will replace my Jacketed load for Michigan sized critters. If I was up your way I would keep the 385's and ignore the recoil.Nice flat nose, should punch a good size hole in about anything
