What is your weather today?

There is still over a foot of snow on the ground.
This coming Saturday, there is gonna be a night shoot at the sportsman club for the night vision and lasor sight folks.
They plowed the snow from the 100 yd range last week, But Tuesday, we got a 1/2" of rain...which turned to ice. I wonder if these night vision and lasor sight folks shoot from the bench? or if they are running around to different stations like IPSC?

I'd like to get out to the range, but not with these current ground conditions.

Currently -15* below, high today predicted to be zero. Clear with a light breeze. Suns coming back, approaching 9 hours of sunshine today. Gaining 6 minutes a day.
About 2 feet of snow on the ground and it won’t even start to melt until April.
This weekend temperatures will be above zero with a high of 19*. Nice!

We're about 25 minutes north of Winelover. We headed for the basement room we use for "tornado warnings" at about 0245. Came back upstairs at 0335. According to "weather radio", sounded like John was closer to the worst of the weather.

Spring day yesterday (70*) and back to winter today (32*). Also quite gusty.

Another storn system is allegedly headed California's way this coming week. The weather warlocks predict rain off and on from Tuesday through Saturday, with snow falling on Friday in the predicted low temps. The Chambers of Commerce and real estate hawkers won't like that one bit.

20's this morning, 40's this afternoon. Perfect Maple sap flowing weather. I was going to tap until March but the trees are already running.

cold last night till it started snowing then it warmed up higher than we've been seeing during the day time.
that lead us to being over 32 for the first time since maybe November?
hopefully that's a trend and not just a storm thing, i'm pretty much over it being +/-0

Cindy found these daffodil volunteers in the Johnson grass, behind the food plot, yesterday. The ones she planted are just in the stem stage.

Perfect sap flowing weather. Went to bed at 10pm it was 29° got up late at almost 7am and it was 22°. The effect of yesterday's exercise I presume caused me to sleep in. Supposed to get into the 40's again today so I am predicting a good healthy flow of sap. When we collect we will most likely deploy a few more bags.

By Wednesday we are supposed to get somewhere between 3 and 100 inches of snow according to the prognosticators. If it is like all but one of the snowmageddon warnings it will be closer to nothing. Our biggest snow this season was 9".
