It's 83* outside today, and more of the same tomorrow. I'll take that, it was snowing in the local mountains 4 days ago.

Cold front with strong thunderstorms moved thru NE Nebraska and western Iowa today, kicking off several small tornadoes. We had spotters out for 90 minutes, sounded our sirens for about 30 minutes. Local ones occured in farmland, mostly damaging irrigation pivots. Three within a couple of miles of our hometown, too close for comfort! Tis the season, here in the plains! hc18flyer

Omaha area got some good rain but no severe weather. Did hear that sirens went off in Norfolk.
We are definitely entering that time of year.

No snow, and were are in deep doodoo! State just declared a drought emergency. Farmers will get less than 60% of their irrigation water. Food prices are going up!

This is from a game camera on our property. Nice day on the Bee Farm(Rockdale, Texas). 86 and breezy. Wild Flowers are coming in. Should be a good year for honey! If it stays dry I'll go out this weekend, feed the Deer & do some steel plate shooting.

What a difference 10 minutes makes, 30-40 mph wind gusts, heavy rain. Lightning is now off to the east. Weather radio alert for right now but the Doppler says it's nearly gone already. Go figure.

What a difference 10 minutes makes, rain didn't last 5 minutes, lightning stopped and the wind gusts that came up suddenly is down to a breeze. Must have been one of those storms of the century. Or something. Doppler says it's already east of here.

2/10" of rain out of that fast-moving storm, last night. High of 87*, yesterday. Won't hit 70* today or the next few, either.

Wow,,id like to experience 16% humidity!!!
Must be sooooo comfortable
I can't describe it really but imagine working moderately heavy labor and instead of wringing out your shirt and your socks getting squishy you have a salt line on your shirt in a T . When you take a 10 minute break your shirt dries completely and swamp butt only happens on synthetic seats . That's why 95° is still comfortable.

Glorious rain this morning; helping heal all the drought damaged flora; the fauna is over it already.

Partly cloudy and windy with temps in the low 40's. We even had the occasional snow flake falling this morning. It must be much colder aloft.
