Still can't sleep CW; I don't know how long this will last.
Its Seven months and a few days for me. I still have 1-3 nites a week dwelling upon the past. Mostly only when i wake in middle of nite with knee pain and wake up enough to "think"...
i cannot tell you it gets better my friend. But you will grow accustomed. My secrete is stay busy. NEVER sit idle. Stay away for a while from familiarities that cause remembrances.
Your still in my prayers my friend.

Well to tell you how bad I have it CW, I teared up real good just reading your comments. I can't escape the memories, they are evoked by music; movies; pictures that resemble her; smells, ect.
Got up on my backyard range yesterday and enjoyed a hour or so of shooting my B14R and my 6ARC; really like that cartridge. Loaded with Leverevolution in a quasi ladder test starting at 28gr and bumping it up .2gr and finished at 28.8. In my rifle the 28.2, 28.4 and 28.6 showed promise.

Continuing to trouble-shoot 2 laptops. Both are 7 to 10 years old. Seems both have bad hard drives. Going to order 2 solid state drives.

Generator service guy coming in the next few days. Genie needs a new battery and he's going to trouble-shoot my bad power circuit out to my gate so that hopefully, I don't have to buy a solar panel and battery to power it.

Saw my hematologist yesterday. Finally got her to tell me what’s wrong with me. I feel fine but my blood chemistry is screwed up. Low hemoglobin, high platelet count. She said I had what’s known as “myeloproliferative disorder”. My bone marrow is producing too much of one and not enough of the other. She also said that is considered “non-life threatening pre-leukemia”.

Looked it up on the MD Anderson Cancer Clinic site. Apparently they don’t know what causes it nor do they have any cures. It is much like diabetes, a lifelong disease that gets treated but as yet can’t be cured.

Looks like the rest of my life will be blood tests every two weeks, oral medication daily, and a booster shot every two weeks if my hemoglobin is too low.

Not thrilled at news but like the US military says, “if you can see it you can hit it. If you can hit it you can destroy it”. Now that I have a name and identified the battle space of this enemy I can understand it and fight it.

Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!

Busy day here. All in my tool and reloading rooms.

Made a good pillar on the third try! Its 3/16 and 2x orders got me wrong materials. So 3/8 solid brass stock allowed me ta make what I needed.

Mounted a couple scopes.

Got email from Bushnell and I have replacement scopes headed in. (I sent in two Whitetail Classic bad optics for Warrenty repair.

I can't seem to get out of my malaise. The driving force left me. Prayer is keeping me on balance, just can't go forward.

They make pills to help chemical depression, and they work. Sometimes we get knocked down lower than we can get back up on our own and fixing the depleted brain chemicals can enable us to get a new perspective. Ask me how I know.

Gary,
What Ian says.
I just got home from the second Dr. Apt. This week
Thought I had a stroke last week. Right side lips, & Face numb, right hand numb, right foot numb. Loss of balance.
Still very numb.
Dr. Convinced me that my lack of taking prescribed blood pressure, and cholesterol pills, Pluss my over stressed mouse brain is short
circuiting out.
Not saying my problems are anything similar to anyones.
What I do know is when a few crappy days happen, it feels like they are forever. They aren't. (I've had years of crappy)
hang in there.

it was mmm like cold when we took the kids to a playground.
how cold? i dunno but the bananas turned brown bout as soon as they touched the picnic table, and we had to wipe the frost off the slides for the kids to go down.

I had the wood stove going today. Outside temp, never got above 36º and it's 32 right now.
I went to the movie theater this afternoon, to see one of the latest releases. I'd tell ya about it, but my review borders on politics, so I'll leave it right there.
