i been really hosing down my onions the last few days and they have kind of responded.

I think tonight is supposed to be the last night of cold in the 30's,,, for at least this week anyway.
it looks like I lost about half of everything, but the losses are making me re-think a few things.

why things 3' apart, under the same cover, one keels over while the other is fine is beyond my comprehension, especially when the one that dies is so far ahead of the one that doesn't.

Rained through the night and most of the day. Still isn't over.............3.7 inches in the rain gauge. Spent the morning loading 500 rounds of 9mm, on a single stage press.

Back from camping a day early. Kind of a bust. Got only a couple hits on steel at 1763 yards with the .338 LM
I did hit the 4 1/2” swinger a couple times at 1000 yards with the 6.5cm.
Brother accidentally shot the cord. The 1/4” cord to the bullseye camera system at a mile. with the .338.
This kept us from trying 2000+ yards. So flat and so much sage brush you can’t spot misses with “splash”
We really needed that camera to help us out. Time to find a new shooting spot.

Took the fg-42 out the other day. The muzzle break disappeared. Found it just shy of the 50 yard targets. 0623191522a.jpg
Rick @ that Texas place. said he'd get another one out asap. Very cool.

That is a LOT of cord! Bad luck for sure.

FG-42...THAT, I had to look up. Uh, that is a real rarie. I am amazed that you can get parts
at all.

Looks like a cool gun, though. Looks like the muzzle brake is pretty darned effective.

For others who, like me, have no idea about an FG-42

Hosted our Summer Solstice Shoot this weekend, actually Thursday through Saturday. All cast bullets, not many rules, most of the shooters are retirees but we did have a 17 and an 18 year old that fit in wonderfully. Good company, great food, good times!

Finished the yard work, made a batch of crock pot stew, now deciding on which rifle will accompany the scouterized Swede, tomorrow.

Nicer day today than most have been for the past week. We have had coastal overcast and scud in the morning, and temps have stayed low (for the season) until today. 92* high today, and higher humidities that come with this morning grayness. The next 10 days are supposed to be repros of today, per Weather Underground. This is Spring weather here, not Summer. At least it isn't raining--or SNOWING, like in CO and MT.

I started using my new Constant Glucose Monitor earlier today. The old unit I have used since Oct. 2014 has been a godsend, but it was getting a little long in the tooth according to the endocrinologist. The old Gen 4 unit leaves and the new-tech Gen 6 Dexcom is broadcasting live as of 4 P.M. PDT. This is a simpler and much-improved system. It is touch-screen operated, as opposed to the button arrangement on the Gen 4 units. I like it.

Bill, that one (a real one) is way above my pay grade.
Mine is the reproduction "smg" made in Texas.
I can't figure out how to get a utube video to show here. TFB TV has one. It's under the military vids. I took this last October.
