YES 100% YOUNG ONES ARE BEST!!! 25-50# is ya killin for eatin!! But I have eaten 400# too. Yes tougher but always flavorful. Known tough ones get cooked low n slow.

Yellow perch, walleye, and sauger are all related. Mild, firm, white meat.Perch are tasty....but never had a sauger?
