That mould would work well for what I’m thinking about, bodies on big weedless spinners. Is it for sale?
I found a listing for quite a few of the Ament moulds on eBay, but only one for the TA6. When I looked at the picture it was just a jig mould!
I knew from your description that couldn’t be correct.
Thanks much for the pic.

Cast 150-plus Lee 452-252 SWCc, last night. After this mornings Uberti Cattleman II load and accuracy testing they will henceforth be loaded with 6.0-grains of Bullseye.
That is a great load; standard and only load for my Italian SAA .45 Colt. Bullet is almost always RCBS 270 grain Scovill, except when I run out and am using up my late friends stash of Lyman 452424's.

Not today, nor yesterday, nor day before - - too dddddurn cccccold and windy. But three days ago I got a RCBS 45-270-SAA delivered. Temp was 60dF with a pleasant SW breeze, soooo,..... Yeah, hot water and dawn and a tooth brush. Then the ole Drop-Out on a q-tip swab and clean in the cavities, then to the casting bench. While the pot was warming the mold was on the hot plate. Did a few quick chores and then commenced. I cast about a hunert and the came out nice. On the left is the 45-270-SAA and on the right is the old Lee group buy 45-310-K for comparison.

With the recycled scrap (culled bullets from other projects) this run of 45-270-SAA is 275-277. They filled out good. As expected, the mold will run hot very easily. I will powder coat these and test in a Vaquero, probably with Unique for starters when it warms up a little.

Shout out to RCBS for yet another quality mold.

I guess I've never mentioned how much I like RCBS mold, eh? At least on this board.
