Some humidity, but not a lot--unlike a lot of the country. The nights here usually cool off to the low 60s, so we open windows when we go to bed and the A/C (set @ 78*) has cycled off already. Last month's SCE bill was in the $125 range, which is acceptable.

Yesterday was Hot and humid, This morning the TV weather guy told us it'll be Hot and humid again today, until late afternoon, when a west wind blows in some drier, smokier air...but still hot...YUCK.
I can't wait for the snow.

Well I understand about the hot and humid statement, but "can't wait for the snow".
I was looking for the "thumbs down" button or a least a "that sucks" button.

I do like nice crisp fall weather though, but snow? Well when I was young I liked the challenge of winter, but, I don't ski, snow-machine or make snow angels anymore so if winter got stuck in fall mode I'd like it.

Sunday we had a picnic in Denali Park on Reily Creek and noticed some leaves we're starting to turn. Denali is about a week ahead of the interior area.

Yup, winter is coming Jon Snow. About 60 days until we can and often do see the white stuff.

I like the change of seasons. I've had enough of this hotter than normal Minnesota summer. I welcome the coming of fall. In Minnesota, Fall sometimes only lasts two weeks, LOL...So I just resign myself to wanting snow and winter, but if Fall happens to last a couple months, all the better. Don't worry, I tend to get weary of Minnesota's winter, if we don't start getting some sporadic melty weather in February.

The temps crawled back up to the I HATE THIS mark today, 102* and some humidity. Clouds are back, boiling over the mountains and warnings about T-storms in Apple Valley and Lucerne Valley. Yes, summer is here. Lovely.

almost 80 today, but all the ground squirrels are in.
I figured I had another week.
I might have just hit them a little too early in the day.
sometimes, if you hit it right just before they lock down for good, you can damn near wear a barrel out.

Darn Hot and humid here! Official heat wave and it will not get any better until maybe Saturday afternoon or Sunday!
Highs in the 90's and pop up storms anytime during the day!
Last week we had record low temps! It has been a crazy summer
