Hot & humid waiting for "Henri" to pass the next 2 days

still cold [like 52 for a high] and the pouring rain is even colder.
hoping the bell peppers hold up, there's a lot of new blooms on them.

Afternoon storms never materialized. Received just under 2/10" of garden variety rain, during the AM.

Same here. Currently 91% humidity, 77 degrees heading for a guessed at 92. Who invented August anyways?

Well even though most events were canceled today ( including the big Airshow) because of Henri! I was able to get my 2 last batches of 45 SWC's powder coated....They kept saying rain but nothing happened! So that makes 600 45 SWC's powder coated in 2 afternoons With resizing and weighing thrown in!

We got some light wind.. gusts pretty strong. But rain and some real heavy all day. Today too.

Hot and humid. Washed the bugs off the front of the car, not too messy just must have been a billion of them, about the size of small gnats. Only time worse was in 60s, driving at nite through Ne cornfields west of Lincoln. Hoppers get nasty.

Went out on the lake before sunrise................was already 78 degrees. We're under a heat advisory. High is suppose to be 96 degrees. Currently 90.5* at 1 PM. Just got done cleaning the fish, right before lunch was on the table.



24.5" on 800 series Reef Runner.

24" and a 21.5" were a double header on a five arm Alabama rig............that was fun. Especially, getting them both in the net. Quit at 9 AM after the three.

Norfork Lake, Tracy Ferry Marina. I'm about a ten minute drive away.

Sunny, hot and humid, high 98 degrees. Tomorrow, same forecast. Thursday, 96 degrees.....sounding like a broken record. Getting a break on Friday, only a high of 91 degrees. Not much, if any rain (30% chance), during the next two weeks.

Its August in Michigan, hot humid and sunny. Highs predicted around 90 currently 72 with 90% humidity. Light SW breeze.
