Was a little chilly this morning. 27*F at 0600 hrs.

Nearly all leaves off Locust and Walnut trees. Oaks still sport 80% of their leaves, but turning rust colored. Have to get mowed around Thanksgiving just to chop up the leaves.
Wow, we are quite aways apart and yet we have the exact same situation. 23° at dawn, locusts and walnuts bare, maples shedding fast, oaks maroon and brown.

Supposed to hit 70's this weekend. I need to wash and put up the hotrod and the motorcycle and winterize a boat or two. The past few days have been windy and too cool/cold for wet hands.

The average temperatures are dropping about 10* more, so the high’s will be in the mid 20’s with low’s getting close to single digit’s. No big temperature swings.

Nice day today, highs in upper 50's lower 60's. Sue and I are going to go handlining trolling for walleye and sauger tomorrow. I'll try to remember to take some photos. I'm terrible for not doing that. 70's this coming weekend, but Cox Army will be out cluttering up the river. I hope tomorrow is not too chaotic.

Forecasted for a good snow storm started last night hitting the Tanana Valley which is about couple hundred miles east to west. Snowfall is predicted to be heavier in the eastern end, here in the western end so far only received about couple inches. It’s expected to sno on into this evening. Might actually get to use my new SxS with the plow.

You guys are too kind pointing out that it could be somewhat more pleasant in Sourthern Latatudes.
