14º this morning.
I am really happy about the ice removal I did yesterday. BUT, the 5" Glacier by my alley parking spot is now 6" and glassy shiny ...and we have snow coming this evening :(
You can fix that with that splitting maul and a teenager need a couple bucks.

the storm rolling through here is being pushed by a jet stream that dips clear down to Los Angeles.
when it scoops back up into the midwest the wind is gonna be wicked.
when the back side finally gets past us it's gonna be worse here than it is now.

we got 4"s in one hour yesterday, didn't even see it fall because you couldn't see.
everything come to a halt, wherever you were was where you were.

After an unusually mild winter with little snowfall.....now in March they are telling us to batten the hatches and get ready for 8-12" of snow and 40mph winds. Yawn, I will believe it when I see it. (Gonna check the snowblower just in case).

Having a hard time trying to put -24 and the word nice in the same line. :headscratch:

Was chilly here yesterday also, only got up to 55. Yes John, that's PLUS 55. :) Today should be a little better at +60 and a 4 mph breeze.

Woke up to about 8 inches of heavy wet snow. Flattened my hedges. Working up the ambition to get the snowblower out and clean up the mess. God, I hate winter.
