1/2" of rain yesterday before 10am, then partly cloudy got up to 77° went for a MC ride about 100 miles after Jon and I shot. We could see some darker clouds over Iowa on our way home around 5pm. Rained during the night again, clear now. Supposed to get into the 70's again today.

It is variably cloudy with a bit of rain and a couple of cloudbursts. We could use a little more rain. Temp is mild.

Rain in May! Well a sprinkle anyway, but unusual in SE Arizona. A fair amount of electrical activity too. Last gasp of the Piña express from the Pacific? Very pleasant yesterday and today.

Rain for the last several hours and rain off and on throughout tonight and tomorrow. Good for us, as I spread tick killer a couple of days ago and the rain activates it. The Mrs. has pulled 11 ticks off me in the last month. I pulled 8 off her. That's after spreading insecticide about 8 weeks ago.

:headscratch:Don't think we've pulled 11 ticks off of either of us during the 12 years we've been in Arkansas. Permethrin-treated clothes are your friend when one goes into the woods/brush.

So is Deet.

Spreading insecticides in the grass is one thing but you'll get far more ticks and chiggers from branches and leaves and the insecticides in the grass doesn't help with that, good for the pooches though.
