Wife and I are going to submit a bid tomorrow for a 2.5 acre lot that just happens to be right next to the house she grew up in. It’s sloped in the back but has enough flat area near the road to build a nice size house without much dirt work. It’s on the ridge of hill at about the highest point in the city. No drainage problems, we’ve fought the lousy sewer system where we live now for years.

Keeping fingers crossed, we both like the location, wife has no feelings about house next door but it’s a nice site in a nice neighborhood.

I apologize to all it would seem that when the Reaper touches my circle it makes a mess of things .......it's usually more personal though .......

The young lady I mentioned in the car accident is home with a lot of not quite 2nd degree burns from the air bags and if I read correctly 5 fracture in her left arm and a pretty significant concussion . I've seen such a loss before and the toll it takes on folks ........

Nuf of that .
Looking forward to breakfast with my daughter tomorrow morning before we head out for a change of scenery and do the tourista bit for 3 days .
Haven't seen her , the SIL , or the kids since last June when I met Ian in a turnout . I think she's more worried about me than she needs to be but stuff flow being what it is ....

Guess I must be loosing it. Was changing scopes on that early M77 Tang Safety and lost the top half of the front ring. Screws are right there where I put it on the bench, but no ring top half. I've torn that shop apart looking with no luck. Guess I'll have to get new

Grew tired of fighting cases to get them to fit my Lee priming tool. The 300 BO brass I have made from military brass had roughly 50% fight me. Had similar trouble, but not as bad, with the shell holder on the press.

Expected a burr or bent rim causing the issue. Nope, rim diameter was the problem. The trouble cases were roughly .001-.0015 larger.

The lathe and a well set up tool made short work of 90 cases. They all slide into the shell holder like good little boys.

Me too. I was just thinking I need to buy a few more pounds of powder before, well, you know how it always seems to go. Two pounds seems like a lot until you realize that it only does like 10K bullets per pound even the scrimpy way I do it and it would take like ten more pounds to match my other component volumes.

I was out of work a few days when I hit a deer with the cruise in the Troop car set at an honest 55mph. The airbag took my left arm, which had been dislocated during a boxing match (another fun story) and whipped it out the window at about 150mph! Those things are dangerous.

My Neighbor recently asked me about steel waterfowl/pheasent ammo for his 12 ga shotgun. He says all his normal sources are dry. I've never looked for it, but told him I see what I could find...haven't found any yet.

Roger's Sporting Goods is showing steel shot in case lots in stock.
I didn't go to check out to see if they notified you then that they didn't have any. They have been sending me adds weekly.

Wow that isn't case lots, it is per box at case lot prices.
