Lynn,
It s great to have a good Doc! My Doc and I have a good connection ! Not Just A Doc but a friend. Never worry about going to see him! Always feel better when I leave ( Even if I have an issue I know he will get it under control quickly)

funny how things change over time.
when i first met the wife her family doctor had his own office and clientele.
i always enjoyed watching him give a shot since his hands shook like a recovering drug abuser but went dead steady at the last millimeter and in went the needle.
good old country doctor for sure, i caught him prescribing the hypochondriac MIL placebo's, and sugar pills on more than one occasion.
anyway i bring him up because of how he become a doctor.

he never finished high school.
i'm surmising that was because he joined the Army when WW-2 broke out and then used his GI bill to put him self through college.
starting out at a community college and then moving on to JR/state college before hitting the university.
i don't think you would even be accepted to a com. college without a bunch of SAT type tests and a HS diploma/GED anymore?

In WA a GED, available free in any school district, will get you into a Community College if a resident. Or a HS grad with a 2.0 GPA.

I found a great snack food, if you like ginger
I like ginger and am going to try it.
I have found that products made by Mariani are first class.
I have a small area where the vine was to spade yet.
I`m hoping to get that finished and at least part of the garden tilled before the rain comes back in tomorrow.
The 3 roses are planted in pots in the front yard.
Now if only the deer will leave them alone.
Many of the flower bulbs that I planted last fall are up and blooming.
All the flowers help my attitude.

Working on changing releases on my planer boards. Slipped with a phillips screw driver and shoved it into my off hand thumb far enough that when I reflexively jerked back the handle came off and left the shank in my thumb. Darn it.

Waiting for a cousin and her husband to arrive, from North Bend, Washington. They'll leave Saturday and drive to her sister and brother-in-law's place somewhere in a very desolate part of Texas.

Looks like dinner for four at Chili's. Or five, if my sister shows up.

Forgot I had Some Flower seeds of my Wife's that Needed starting this month so I quickly got those flats planted. Now I have to rearrange all my 6 packs to accommodate those under the lights!
Got the finished approved High Res photo files from my Architectural shoot out to the Client today.
Son brought over his left overs from last night . He made a Corned beef and cabbage supper for them and his in laws yesterday, didn't want any more. I put the pot on to slowly warm up this afternoon. By supper time the smell was heavenly making Karen and I hungry! Well it was his first attempt and he didn't rinse the meat so the salt level was high! Also appears the fattiest parts were left and not much cabbage but a bunch of potatoes and carrots. Karen carefully picked through it for her meal but I of course became the glutton and finished the rest..... Fat and all!
Now I'm paying the price! I hate to see a good tasting piece of fat hit the trash.
Took the rest of the juice with bits of meat and potatoes and cabbage out to the outside cats! They cleaned it up & now they are laying around like me feeling guilty!
Well it is going down to 19 deg tonight with high winds so they will burn it off ( but not me)

the kids went home last night, then they stopped in today to pick up all the stuff they forgot.
the Girl got out of the car and was determined she was staying here some more.
i finally convinced her she'd have to eat Aunt Jackie's cooking if she did, and that was all it took for her to get back in.
