So worked on planer boards until I stabbed myself. Flushed with hydrogen peroxide, several times squeezing out the puncture would. Put some neo on it with a bandaid and got back at it.
Then dragged out my tackle box with the trolling crank baits in it. There are 96 spaces and I had many of them doubled up. So, I trimmed it down to one lure per space. Checked the hooks, replaced some, bent others back into shape, did some basic tuning.
Soon it was time to head to the County Court house for three hours of training I needed to work as a poll worker. Now I have done a lot of presentations, a bunch of training, and frankly, this guy sucked. He was frenetic, his power point presentation was herky jerky, he had no hand outs, he talked jargon and acronyms, and much of the information was geared at the clerks and chief inspectors. Three hours of my life I'll never get back.
Came home to hot fresh pork quesadillas, only to get a phone call. Reaching for it I knocked over a 12oz. Boomba of Hamm's. By the time Sue and I got done cleaning up the mess our Supper was almost cold. Still good, but no longer hot. I have had better days.

Considering a quick range trip as forcast is wrong. Its beautiful full sun and warming best of all zero wind... we see what noon time brings. But Id like ta put away two rifles that just need re zero.

Cast a pot full of 145gr PB last nite. Now to clean up the workbench. Actually, just find it under the junk. Panera's for lunch with friends after she gets back from paying too much for groceries. Her sis called yesterday, they talked about price of butter - 6$/# in Fl. 4.5$/# cheapest here. Spotty showers after 1 1/2" last nite. Lawn got mowed before the rain so spray for weeds tomorrow. Fun. Then start planning wardrobe for Fl trip next month. Yuk. 2 day drive is getting to me. She made sugar cookies (left a few out for me) and meatloaf yesterday. Yum.

You know Benjamin Franklin loved Cougars so much. He wrote a book in defence of them.

Getting prep'd/RV ready to head out tomo with GS #1 to Atlanta and see 2 Grandaughters and GS #2 is also going to be there (he is in town here, but) for a Tumbling Recital for the GD. Cool thing is all 4 Grandkids will be together and hopefully get to play together a little at the camp ground. Looking forward to it!

went out and shoveled some snow off the bed-bed out back.
it looks like maybe some of the stuff i stuck in it last fall is gonna make it, i really had my doubts about the Parsley coming back but either some weeds popped up or it has a shot.
i tried getting into the upper garden a little to check on the Peach tree, but when the snow got up over my knee's i gave up on that idea.
i did get the wheeler shed open, so that was the big win for the day.
guess i shoulda tried starting one of them,,, maybe i'll remember tomorrow.

Hope they are watching out for the cougar attacks up there.
During dinner, in a very, very noisy Chili's restaurant, the husband said coyotes are a big problem, bothering the local elk herd. What with all the noise confusing my hearing aids, he very well may have said cougar. He also told me about his friend who had hunted Texas hogs, and I asked why would someone hunt hawks.

Now you know why, whenever we want restaurant food, my wife calls and orders it to go.

I looked on line to see what the hours are for renewing my concealed permit. Turns out I can do it online now. It costs an additional $6.50 to do that. It's worth it to me to not have to go into town.
So, at least I did that today.

With the rain back, I built a fire in the shop and spent 2-3 hrs cleaning it up.
The grand kids gave me a battery powered blower.
I didn`t think that it had much use since it was way less powerful than my Stihl.
I found a great use for it.
I open the big door in front of the shop and both walk-ins and blow the dirt out with the blower.
My crocus are in full bloom.
What fresh breath of spring.

One of my son's friends brought over his red healer pup, 11-12 weeks old, for socialization with strangers and an older dog. Her name is Bean and her shyness lasted just a few minutes. After a little cavorting Bean and Phoebe got along fine. Bean was very comfortable with us by the time she left. Son Andy brought Sonoran Hotdogs for lunch, they didn't last long enough to get a picture.

Well My Wife Karen has been feeing really depressed as of late: She had laperoptic Knee surgery about 5 weeks ago to clean up a torn meniscus! But since she has been getting worse . Had another MRI Turns out that the removal of the torn piece cause the Tibia Nodule to form a Hair line internal fracture but not through the exterior of the bone. So She is on crutches and a 4 to 6 week recoup time! No Exercise ....No Tennis ( Her love), not even going out shopping. Never seen her so depressed & Never seen her cry in 47 years! I have not been able to bring her out of her funk but tonight I decided to do 3 hours of Karaoke with her! Probably the longest Karaoke session we have ever done, A glass or two of wine and she had a great time ! I just got her to bed an she was still singing! It was great to see her smiling again!
