Opening day of gun season. Predicted low was 32*...............got down to 27 degrees, this AM. Pretty damn cold for this area. About froze. Sat out for 2.5 hours. Saw nothing. Only heard three gun shots, way off in the distance. Suppose to be 74* this coming Tuesday.

Cindy hemmed and hawed, about moving her potted plants into the garage, late yesterday. I'll bet she's glad she did!

This weekend in southern Kalifornistan was unseasonably HOT. Marie worked both days marshaling aircraft and freight (she is now a ramp agent at KSBN for Amazon) and mid-afternoon Saturday it got to 97*. MIZZABLE. Sunday was a few degrees cooler, and a plane scheduled to land that afternoon was scrubbed due to weather back east, so the company offered voluntary time off--which Marie availed herself of, and was home about 1 P.M.

Cooler today, 83* right now (12:35 P.M.) and a bright, clear day.

Back to Summer, today and tomorrow. High's in the low to mid 70's. This mornings low was 46 degrees. Of course the trade off is brisk winds at 10-15 mph. Sunny today, chance of PM showers, tomorrow. Thursday night the potted plants will have to be moved back in the garage,................and stay there. Friday morning calling for 28 degrees.
