Yeah, "Spring time in Alaska it's 40 below." I heard that song once. Have experienced it a couple of times, it sucks.
Yea Fiver it's about 30 today, but 2 to 4 inches of snow tonight. On the first day of Spring, March 21st, we are going to drag Punxsutawney Phil out of his hole and see if Phil sees his shadow, to see if we will have 6 more weeks of winter. I'm putting money on him seeing his shadow.

supposed to be 23 below Thursday and Friday night.

I wish that was the forecast for here, followed by a foot of nice soft snow!

might make 60 here today, and all the mud to go with it. I’m pretty sure a page fell down on the calendar and it’s really May!!!

It's clouding up currently (1 P.M.) in south Kalifornistan, supposed to rain overnight and through tomorrow, a bit under an inch all told. Better late than never.

Half an inch of rain is scheduled to start in the early evening. Can't recall the last time we got an measurable rain, but it was probably sometime in January. Last week the Sierra snowpack was only 60% of normal.

needle is pointing at the big 0 again this morning, I'd really like to see some over night temps closer to 20 or so.

Gonna be near the 60 degree mark today and sunny (no bugs and almost no pollen). Perfect for wood cuttin/splittin/haulin/stackin...or just general yard/garden work.
THIS is why I live in MN. I love the spring weather the most.

Tuesday and Wednesday's rain totaled about 3/4", and about a 1/3" is scheduled to start at 5 p. m. Sunday. We are a whopping 10" below normal. Our rain-year begins July 1 and ends June 30, normal would be 16", we've received six.
