"Tonights Supper on the grill"

Ms thought we needed to eat some of the broccoli, some cabbage , the last of last year's asparagus and squash, with some Polska and shrimp . I'm pretty sure that a name for it other than stir fry when it's a 3-4qt pan almost full .

Now I'm too full to do much of anything but stare at the wreckage.

Fired up the grill today. Ran it for over two hours this AM, then let it cool and scrubbed it out and its running again now.

Gonna re christen it with good ol american hamburgers n hot dogs! It almost hit 67° but was breezy. Winds last night where astounding. They woke me a few times creaking the huge oaks out in front of the house!

Can't keep up with all the political BS.
I got it for 4 bucks a 12. Bought a whole bunch when on sale last December.
I am drinking it. Whether it's sold now by a TV, furry, democrat Republican, Trump or Biden.
Don't care.
Especialy if it is canned of made in the USA. They are Americans providing Americans jobs. They have every right to put their resources where they want, and have and voice their opinion. Just like I do. They are a for profit organization. By buying their product I am not supporting a cause. I am helping Americans support themselves.
I am going to drink my last four 12 packs and enjoy every drop. And in a few weeks, or so if Coke, Pepsi or 7 up is on sale that will be my next choice.
Don't judge me on something I had no Idea about.

I Quite Soda cold turkey in 2008. I just stopped. I was 325# and drank nearly a six pac a day... That was Hunting season so say mid October? By the first if the year I was 280#!!!!!!! I found out that there was 6-10 TABLESPOONS of sugar PER CAN!!!!! My body is better for it!!

Today 16 years later I buy Mini cans of Sprite, Cherry Coke and Sunkist Orange. My buddys wife likes Sprite. My lil Brother likes Sunkist and my buddys boy likes Cherry Coke. VERY OCCASIONALLY Ill open a can. Generally as a desert and it ALWAYS takes me two sittings ta finish!

I drink Water, Coffee and Vodka. But not necessarily in that order. ;)

Ill not tell another man what he should do. But I think of you guys as friends and want all of ya around so try ta get away from that stuff brother its posion.

No sweat Mitty. You didn’t say anything wrong that I saw.

Now the mushrooms, I draw the line there. My wife loves em and eats them often. Me, not so much.

I got a story like CW's.
I quit HFCS pop in 2003, (in MN we call it pop, not soda, LOL) and lost about 40 lbs over 6 months.
I think the diet pop is just as bad, if not more poisonous, than HFCS.
It's very rare for me to have any pop anymore...Since 2003, it's been mostly Coffee, Water, or Milk.

Since I found out I had geriatric diabetes, it is mostly water, coffee and homemade iced tea. Glass of red wine with dinner and maybe a pre-dinner whiskey or after dinner gin. "A man has too kill snakes in his own way." my daddy always told me.

Coke is also the highest priced cola, here. Almost $2 more for a 24 pack than Pepsi, at Wally World. Other retailers have regular sales on Pepsi products, hardly ever for Coke.

The only time we drink soda/pop is with alcohol, added. o_O Summertime, cocktail hour.

We prefer Coke, but between their politics and higher prices, we recently switched to Pepsi.

Only soda pop in the house is A&W rootbeer for the son and 7up for upset tummies. Mom and I don't drink soda pop. Although, I do drink gin & tonic a couple of times each week. Tonic is a bit like soda pop.

With meals, it's wine, beer, water, tea or milk.
