Yesterday and today's afternoon highs were in the mid-60s, but that cool Northwest wind off the bay made it feel like 50s. Comfortable enough in the sun, but close to needing a flannel shirt in the shade. Come to think of it, this morning I had one on for a while.

Yes, it was 34 degrees this morning, only because I stained the deck so it wouldn't dry overnight, then up to 65 today. Not much wind, but clouds off and on.

nice today, I even tested out the sprinklers in the garden for a bit.
I had a 90 blow out in one spot so replaced it only to find a bit of the pipe had gone with it.
meh tomorrow or the next day.
think we topped out at 53 or so but it was a nice calm mid 50's, so I only sweated for a couple of hours.

We had a cold front blow thru yesterday morning with a just a little rain.
Sunny and 80 degrees today with a 5 to 6 MPH breeze from the north.
Perfect for being out doors.
Cool in the shade, warm in the sun.
Life is good!

The jet stream dropped south of us last night, unexpected and unannounced. Beautiful clear night at 2300 when I went to bed, 30 knot winds and dropped .29" of rain at 0300 but cloudless sky at 0600. Most rain we have had at one time in months. Been windy all day today, but is suppose to drop off for tomorrow.

Here in Panama City, FL it is as we pilots often say, it is CAVU. Ceiling and visibility unlimited. 84*F with a gentle offshore tropical breeze. I am going shooting early tomorrow. I am a member of a private gun club. We have a range with 50, 100, 200, and 300 yard targets and covered benches. On a week day a retired guy like me will be all alone up there. It's like my own personal private range.

Our range opened today with every other bench available, so total of six. When I called there were 26 people standing in the club house waiting to get a bench to shoot on. Shooting is very popular here at the range since all public lands are still closed to shooting.
