When I shoot the CBA Nationals in Sioux City, IA, in June I know what it feels like. (Plus I grew up in OH,KY and WV.)Ric, come on down to Nebraska when we hit 100° and you will see the difference humidity makes. There are days where I shower and never truly dry off.
That would do it.When I shoot the CBA Nationals in Sioux City, IA, in June I know what it feels like. (Plus I grew up in OH,KY and WV.)
I stepped off the airplane is Cam Ron Bay, RVN, at 2200 hours at 92*, 100% humidity, and the smell of burning s**t and diesel fuel. Did my in-country training with the 101st in 3 Corps; it was 10 days just to get you used to the heat and humidity. Even thought I did my basic and AIT at Fort Polk, LA, in the summer, it was an eye opener!Oh, I think Ric remembers what triple digit temperature and humidity and feel like. I know I do.
