What is your weather today?

One of the snow blowing chores is doing the dog yard. Biscuit likes to crap in one corner in particular and one the blower gets in there it’s like being in a shooting gallery. Frozen turds going everywhere bouncing off the chain link fence. Definitely wearing a hat and keeping your mouth shut helps.
I'm still sitting here chuckling, five minutes after reading that!!

It only got down to +10 so it is nippy but not brutal out. A little zephyr from the north just to make me glad I had an old OD watch cap on my follicley challenged melon.
It was 83 this afternoon in the Hill Country, you'll need a sun hat when you visit the coast.

that makes 2 of us.
the snow cleared out enough to see the land mines when i went out to get the last Cabbage out of the cold box.
the new carrots are froze in solid though.
i sent the boy out there for a full hour and he wasn't happy when it started snowing again.
right when he got done.

Cold this morning for here, winter weather 19* and not a cloud in the sky. Suppose to get up to 40 this afternoon, so about average temperatures both ways. Snow is sticking on the mountains, so hopefully we will have water next summer.

You sound surprised. Have you not looked at a map and notice where it is you live?

Yeah I know where I’m at, it’s just basically very little snow for a month, then when we are scheduled to fly out, it starts dumping. Supposed to snow Friday and Saturday as well. Lots of extra work doing snow removal as this stuff will be here when I come back at the end of February, I’d rather then doing other needed preparations. Oh yeah then we will be leaving again March 15th till April 11th and the snow I move today will still be here. It’s not like a person can ignore it, because it’s not going away till mid April if I’m lucky.
Happy to get the ground cover for the insulation value, but, it really doesn’t make my pant legs roll up and down.

I’ll repeat: “Oh Boy” no exclamation point here.

Rain was scheduled after 0300, and it was raining when Duke and I went out at 0430. Rain frog says 1/4". The plants are happy.

Warmed up enough to get some crepe myrtle trimmed and tied for the trash guys. Loaded some BO with ftx & amax yesterday. We'll see how they shoot in the carbine. Got a couple boxes of them, might as well use them. Dang that thing has a tight throat. Gotta seat real deep. She's mopping the floor, second time this week, gonna wear out the tile.

70° . 5-10 out of the SW . The guessers prognostication is that we sit in a 60-80 wide band where the plains and west Tx stuff will go NW and the stuff from the Gulf will go SE of us . Pretty mild day .

Well got the drive plowed out and all snow removal done. But going to start snowing, well it’s supposed to be snowing starting now, but hasn’t started yet. Highway and our main road still have not been plowed.

Sixty degrees at 6 AM. SSW wind @ 4-5 mph. Went out with the X-bow, before the wind gets cranking. Forecast is for 10-15 mph and 74* for a high with mostly cloudy conditions. Scattered T-storms for this afternoon and evening.

We've been with abnormally warm temps in November and December. Daffodils are almost a foot high. If this keeps up they'll soon be blooming.

Took this picture especially with Alaskan John, in mind.
