What is your weather today?

It was 80 degrees in Little Rock.

That won't last. 38 overnight tonight and a high of 47 tomorrow. Probably be burning the fireplace this weekend. Already been through more firewood for only early December than I would like.

Speaking of fireplaces, have you used the log splitter? Curious to make sure the repair is working.

Light rain here yesterday, maybe 1/4". Local mountains got a few inches of snow as well. More rain down low and snow higher up is forecast for Mon and Tue next week. As long as the accumulations are slow and steady, all good. It's those gully-washers and micro-burst downpours that cause the grief around here.

First snow of the year. Doesn’t look like any real accumulation. It was 70° just last week.
Weather here in the winter is like a menopausal woman, cold with the odd hot flashes now and the

Tornado watch issued for last evening from 7 PM till 11 PM. Nothing happened near us. We didn't even get a drop of rain. One person killed in a small Arkansas town east of Jonesboro, near the Missouri boot. Jonesboro is about 160 miles east of us. Kentucky got hit bad, appears 50 dead.

A few times. Works great. Starts easily. Have found no need for ether.:)

We're getting some pretty nasty gusts (25MPH+) out of the NNW. Won't be any barbecue tonight. A little chilly. Was 38 degrees outside when I woke up. Strong north winds and with no furnace or heater going, inside temp was still 71 degrees. Love a well insulated house.

Arctic blast has been working its way through here too, 49 out. We never turned off the air conditioner and it's still running hard downstairs to keep it 68. Having been 60/85 for weeks it takes a lot to knock the heat out of the ground and slabs. Hard to hear people died last night from weather, are tornado shelters out of vogue?

Deceiving outside. It's sunny and 42 degrees with brisk NNW winds. Far cry from the 76 degrees we had, yesterday. Bella the Boxer doesn't even want to go out to do her business. Wind freaks her out.

:headscratch: They do make weather alert radios that sell for @ $20.............we have one on each floor. They are loud enough even to wake the soundest sleeper. Watches were put out starting at 7 PM, that night, here...............so it's not like there was no warning. We even get e-mail alerts for sever weather. You'd have to have your head in the sand.

30F, frost after 60F and 2" of rain yesterday with 50 mph winds. I'm not complaining after seeing the pictures of the devastation in KY. They say one of those tornados stayed on the ground for almost 250 miles.
