Made it up to 74 degrees yesterday, with full sunshine and light winds. Started the day at 40 degrees. I was testing out a potential deer hunting load for my 338 W. Got to test at three different temperature ranges. Three shots in the low 40's, three in the low 50's and last three in the low 60's. Didn't work out. First shots from cold barrel were extremely high, averaging 8 inches. :headbang:

Freeze warning out for tonight. So I'll be helping Cindy cover her inground plants and moving the potted ones into the garages. :sigh:

31 degrees and snow here in southeast Kansas this morning. 1-2" expected. supposed to get to 29 tonight.
This has been one heck of an up and down spring. Crappie have moved in and out so many times they've worn out the luggage.

Wind out of the north and 34 here right now. We've had snow flurries for the last 1-1/2 hours. Some pretty good sized flakes coming down.

Sunny and low 70’s. On the back porch now enjoying a cigar while sipping a shot of Wild Turkey Rare Breed.
Having house remodeled, HVAC contractors were done at 5:30 and left. Wife and I on deck with a Bowmore single malt Scotch. 32 this morning and peaked at 4 at 70*. Guys in the attic didn't do to bad for heat.

It was about 85* today, nice and clear. Yesterday had winds out of the desert and temps to match, topped out at 91*. Supposed to get cooler for the next few days, might head out to the desert and return some lead to earth tomorrow or Thursday.

Woke to the winter wonderland. 32 F, 3" or so of fresh snow on the ground and the news shows the good folks are playing dodge-em cars on the freeways.

Thirty one degrees, here but no accumulation. Had flurries, late, yesterday afternoon. :headbang:

So much for global warming.

Suppose to be in the 80's Monday and Tuesday.

24 here this morning. Heck those kind of temps were the overnight lows we were looking for 6 weeks ago to make the sap flow. Not a cloud in the sky and the sensitive plants my wife cares about are under inverted 8 gallon buckets, but at these temps that may not be enough.

Yesterday morning there was an unscheduled mist that hung about for two hours, or so. The rest of the day was overcast and dreary till an unscheduled, bed time drizzle. This morning is dark and dreary and looks more like January or February, appears last night's drizzle drizzled for a lengthy time, and the sun is to stay hidden all day.
